Part-time Site Medical Director Illinois River Correctional Center (77467)

Centurion Health is proud to be the provider of healthcare services to the Illinois Department of Corrections.

We are currently seeking a part-time (16 hours)Site Medical Director to join our team at Illinois River Correctional Center located in Canton Illinois.

The Medical Director provides the clinical direction needed to meet service delivery requirements direct clinical services for patients and clinical supervision for medical staff at the assigned site under the supervision of the Statewide Medical Director. The Medical Director ensures efficient and clinically appropriate medical services are provided and participates in various committees to include Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Infection Prevention and Control and Pharmacy and Therapeutics as requested.

Hourly rate starting at $135 per hour or higher based on years of experience.

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school required
• Active unrestricted MD/DO Illinois license or ability to obtain
• Active unrestricted DEA
• Ability to pass credentialing drug screening and background check
• BC/BE in a primary care specialty is required

Available Shift

• Monday - Friday
• Day shift
• No nights holidays or weekends
• Choice of 5 8-hour shifts or 4 10-hour shifts
