Director, Real Estate Finance – Debt (Vancouver, BC)

You will

• Work and liaise with people across the company including acquisition development construction accounting assetmanagementand leasingin order tounderstand the upcoming capital needs of the Company

• Prepare external financing materials including financing presentations for debtfinancingsboth first and secondmortgages.

• Sourceandstructuredebt financing for acquisitionsdevelopment projectsand income producing properties.

• Contribute to thetimelycompletion of real estate acquisition and financing due diligence processes/requirements

• Developdeep relationshipswith lenders including banks creditunionsand non-bank lenders.

• Serve as a mentor to junior team members actively supporting their development through day-to-day coaching knowledge sharing and best practices
  

You have

• A University degree or diploma in Real Estate Business or Finance

• A minimum10years of experience in the Finance sector with at least7years in the Real Estate industry

• Experiencewithfinancing residential developments and/or commercial properties

• An understanding of real estate fundamentals and valuation principles and experience working with proformas and underwriting deals

• A proventrack recordof deal execution including preparation of financing presentations and negotiation of loan terms/agreements

• A well-developed network of contacts in the lendingand real estatecommunity

• Proficiencyin the Microsoft Suite and advanced level Excel skills

Salary range

• $150000 - $200000 per year estimated based on experience.
