Job Summary
The Performance Improvement Analyst supports improvement initiatives to sustainably improve the performance of departments and processes in the domains of people & collaboration quality outcomes service and access patient satisfaction resource management and growth.
The PI Analyst supports the department in designing planning implementing and tracking of short and long term improvement initiatives that have a beginning and an end with specified deliverables. The PI Analyst leads the documentation from process improvement events by digitizing value stream maps process maps standard work and other information.
The PI Analyst collects data from observations manipulates databases to produce analyses and creates automated dashboards. The PI Analyst supports the creations of presentations for leadership and improvement projects. The PI Analyst maintains various Performance Reports by coordinating data and narrative updates as well as ensuring quality control of document.
The scope of activities for this role includes: developing collaborative customer relationships implementing lean design while developing business solutions with clinical stakeholders overseeing and facilitating projects and analyzing data obtained from numerous information systems including providing judgment necessary to determine the accuracy and applicability of the information.
Minimum Education: Bachelors Degree required
Masters Degree preferred in or progress (Industrial Engineering Health Administration Business Administration)
Minimum Experience/Knowledge: 0-2 years
Minimum Experience (academic or through internships) in process improvement (Lean Six Sigma) and project management.
Proficient PC skills. Working knowledge of databases spreadsheets word processing and statistical software programs. Knowledge of business (operational clinical and financial) statistics and data analyses techniques. Ability to manage and analyze data. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Lean experience in an Academic Medical Center.

The salary range for this position is $71000 - $80000.
