Job Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a skilled and reliable Dental Assistant to support clinical and administrative functions within a busy dental practice. This role involves assisting during procedures ensuring patient comfort maintaining compliance with safety standards and contributing to efficient day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and organize treatment rooms prior to patient visits
• Sterilize instruments and follow infection control protocols
• Assist the dentist during procedures including instrument handling and material preparation
• Take and process dental X-rays as required
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Maintain accurate patient records and update charts
• Support front desk tasks such as scheduling and basic administrative duties
• Monitor inventory and restock dental supplies as needed
• Ensure a clean safe and welcoming clinical environment
• Collaborate with team members to maintain smooth workflow

Required Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Dental Assistant
• Knowledge of general dental procedures and chairside assisting
• Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program or minimum one (1) year of hands-on experience
• Valid X-ray certification
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with dental practice management software
• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) credential
• Additional certifications or specialized training in dental assisting
