Dock Loader (Manual Loading)
Job Summary
Responsibilities:
- As a dockworker your main responsibility is to load and unload product onto and off of trucks and trailers. Frequently exerting 50-65 pounds of force. Frequent lifting pulling pushing and carrying of product.
- Able to work independently and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations. Report accidents immediately to a supervisor.
- Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision.
- Stage doors and product in designated areas to ensure efficient truck loading.
- Notify line supervisors when a product is missing or needs to be manufactured.
Physical Demands:
This position requires heavy lifting constant twisting climbing stooping climbing ladders and walking.
Shift is 5:00am to 3:30pm
