Global Banking & Markets, Structured Derivatives Sales Strats, Vice President, Tokyo

For this position we are looking for an Vice President in the Equity & Fund Derivatives Structuring team within the firms Strats Group. The Equity & Fund Derivatives Structuring team sits in between the GBM Public sales & trading teams. The team focuses on developing and structuring financial products linked to equities QIS and fund underlyers and marketing structuring products for Japanese clients. These products include insurance products (FIA/VA) structured funds/notes.

A successful Candidate will:

Experience in structuring of insurance products QIS strategies

Interact with sales and clients as a product specialist

Execute structured transactions which involves working with various parts of the firm (e.g. sales trading strats legal compliance)

Create marketing material and generic & transaction-specific analysis

The Structuring and Origination Team has to work with all other groups to develop and maintain issuance programs and products for PIPG. The group has primary responsibility for the creation of mass issued public distribution portfolios as well as tailor made securities issued in response to a client lead order.

Pricing of insurance products equity derivatives and hybrid structures.

Ownership of overall structured products mainly for retail market

Be responsible for product portfolio maintenance and own the cost side of this business.

Drive projects related to expansion of business lines in terms of offering Structured Products in new jurisdictions and in terms of offering new Structured Product types.

Playing key roles in managing and coordinating global automation initiatives with Technology Operations and other such concerned teams.

Work with Technology in close coordination on document generation solutions to create documents templates in relation to the issuance of Structured Products.
