The General Merchandise and Food Sales team leads inbound outbound replenishmentand promotional signing processes for allGeneral Merchandise (GM)areas of the store.This team also leads inventory accuracy merchandise set-upand pricing processes for all areas of thestore. ThisteammayleadFood & Beverage and Food Service providing a fresh and food safe experience. Experts enable efficient delivery to our guests by owning pickpackand ship fulfillment work.

• Guest service fundamentals and experience building a guest-first cultureonyour team

• Retail business fundamentalsincludingdepartment sales trends inventory management guest shopping patternspricingand promotions strategies

• Leadinga team by planning department(s) daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver salesgoals

• Leadingprocess improvements and workload efficiency

• Leading a team of hourly team membersincluding skills in interviewing developing coachingevaluatingandretainingtalent.

• Coachingand traininghourly team membersto build a team with direction from your direct leader.

As an OffsiteGeneral MerchandiseTeam Leader no two daysare ever the same but a typical daymost likelywillinclude the following responsibilities:

• Consistently deliver guest experience commitments to create an Easy Inspiring and Friendly guest experience.

• Ensures every team member understands is trained and consistentlydelivers onTargets guest experience commitmentsand consistent operations.

• Actively observes and provides feedback holding team members accountable while recognizing great guest experience moments.

• Reviews area guest financial and team outcome metrics toidentifyopportunitiestakes actions to improve andaligns team on the right behaviors and execution celebrates wins drives results that deliver outcomes and elevates the guest experience.

• With your direct leaders guidanceassistwith and lead the daily execution of tasks such as receiving products restocking shelves organizing the backroom arranging merchandise and putting up promotional signs for GM areas.
