Location: Syracuse NY
Job Type: Contract (13 Weeks)

Schedule:

• Shift: Day Shift
• Hours: 8:30 AM 5:00 PM
• Weekly Hours: 42.5
• Days: Monday Friday

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to perform high-quality breast imaging procedures in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will ensure patient comfort and safety while producing accurate diagnostic images and maintaining compliance with quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Perform mammography and stereotactic breast procedures as ordered by a radiologist
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
• Explain procedures clearly and ensure patient comfort
• Operate imaging equipment and select appropriate technical factors
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images in accordance with clinical standards
• Maintain compliance with ACR Mammography QA/QC guidelines and MQSA requirements
• Ensure proper documentation and data entry into radiology information systems
• Maintain equipment quality control and follow safety protocols
• Participate in continuing education and training requirements

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of Mammography Technologist experience required
• Strong technical skills in breast imaging and patient care
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Excellent communication and attention to detail

Education & Licensure:

• Associates Degree in Radiologic Technology (or equivalent) required
• New York State License/Registration required (or eligibility)
• ARRT Certification in Mammography (preferred or must obtain within 1 year)
• Current CPR Certification required
