Environmental Services Custodial Operations Manager 2 (2nd Shift)

Overview

A leading organization in the healthcare services sector is seeking an experienced Environmental Services / Custodial Operations Manager to oversee housekeeping operations within a hospital environment. This role is responsible for leading teams maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety and driving patient and client satisfaction.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong operational experience in environmental services custodial management or housekeeping within healthcare or hospitality settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily environmental services and custodial operations
• Ensure a clean safe and sanitary environment for patients staff and visitors
• Lead train and develop a team of frontline staff and supervisors
• Drive patient and client satisfaction through service excellence
• Collaborate with infection control and safety teams to ensure compliance with all standards
• Monitor performance metrics and implement continuous improvement initiatives
• Manage schedules staffing levels and workflow efficiency
• Ensure compliance with regulatory safety and organizational policies
• Lead departmental projects and meet established timelines
• Utilize operational systems and technology to track performance and reporting

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience required
• Minimum of 2 years of management or supervisory experience
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in housekeeping environmental services or custodial operations
• Experience in healthcare hospital or hospitality environments preferred
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Proven ability to manage projects and meet deadlines
• Customer service and client satisfaction focus
• Ability to work independently and drive results
• Proficiency with computers and operational systems

Additional Requirements

• Must be able to work on-site in Grand Forks ND
• Must be available to work a second shift schedule (10:00 AM 6:00 PM)
