Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: $87.07/hr
• Weekly Gross: $3265
• Weekly Stipend: $2590

Schedule:

• Shift: Day Shift
• Hours: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
• Guaranteed Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to perform high-quality magnetic resonance imaging procedures. The ideal candidate will ensure patient safety produce diagnostic-quality images and maintain compliance with departmental and safety protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols
• Position patients and coils to obtain optimal imaging results
• Educate patients on procedures and ensure comfort and safety
• Review patient safety questionnaires prior to MRI procedures
• Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and ensure timely transmission to PACS
• Accurately document and complete studies in the Radiology Information System
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of MRI equipment and work areas
• Monitor and restock supplies necessary for imaging procedures
• Ensure strict adherence to MRI safety standards and infection control protocols
• Assist physicians during procedures as needed
• Schedule exams and perform clerical duties when required
• Report equipment issues or unsafe conditions promptly
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy MRI physics and imaging techniques
• Excellent technical and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment

Preferred Experience:

• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience preferred

Certifications & Licensure:

• Active licensure as required by state regulations
• Compliance with applicable health and safety standards
