The Opportunity

WEM Water has a rewarding opportunity for an Excavator Operator to join the team.

We have a strong portfolio of work with multiple projects underway across Sydneys Northwest and Southwest.

Key Responsibilities:

Plant Operations: Operate an Excavator (up to 50T) to dig deep trenches under Sydney Water requirements
Machine Maintenance: Conduct daily maintenance checks including oil levels and greasing
Clean & Tidy Equipment: Ensure the machine is kept clean and well-organised at all times
Assist with other site duties as needed to ensure project timelines are met.

What Were Looking For:

Minimum 3 years experience operating an Excavator with experience digging deep trenches and ability to apply basic compaction and material movement knowledge
Excavator VOC will be highly regarded (however not essential)
The ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a team
Strong commitment to health safety environment and quality standards and practices
A proactive and positive attitude with the ability to use initiative
A construction white card
Valid Drivers Licence with flexibility to travel between job sites
Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
