SAP S4HANA Finance Process Owner (Treasury & AR) (mwd)

**Freelance contract 100% allocation 12 months Hybrid Barcelona Spain

We are looking for an experienced Business Process Owner (m/w/d) to support the next deployment phase of a global SAP S/4HANA Finance transformation. This role combines deep functional expertise with strong communication and training capabilities playing a key part in testing process ownership and global user enablement. You will act as a subject matter expert ensuring that global teams are fully prepared to adopt new processes and systems.

Your responsibilities

• Take ownership of the global Treasury & Revenue Accounting process template in SAP S/4HANA covering requirements key design choices and final documentation approval

• Prepare and deliver end-user training including live classroom sessions and recorded training content

• Contribute to Functional Integration Testing (FIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) helping to identify analyze and resolve process or system defects

• Work closely with local business stakeholders to balance global process consistency with regional business and localization needs

• Support key deployment activities including cut-over preparation hyper-care and post-go-live stabilization

• Establish and track relevant process KPIs such as DSO liquidity metrics and aging reports

• Identify and drive process improvements across Treasury Cash Management Accounts Receivable and Credit Control

• Degree in Business Finance Accounting or similar; CPA/CA is a plus

• Relevant finance experience including senior stakeholder process ownership or leadership exposure

• Strong SAP FI/CO/FSCM experience ideally in S/4HANA implementation or rollout projects

• Solid expertise in Treasury Cash Management and Accounts Receivable processes

• Experience designing and delivering end-user training on system and process topics

• Hands-on experience with FIT/UAT in SAP projects

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in international environments

• Experience working with cross-cultural distributed teams

• Fluent English; additional languages are an advantage

• Location: On-site presence in Barcelona every other week from Monday to Thursday; remaining working days can be performed remotely.
