Controls Engineering Supervisor

Location: Lancaster Ohio USA
Job Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $130000 $140000 USD

Position Summary

Lead and supervise controls engineering activities within a manufacturing environment. Responsible for managing a team overseeing automation projects and ensuring efficient reliable and compliant control systems.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team of controls engineers
Manage automation projects (timelines budgets resources)
Oversee design programming and commissioning of control systems
Integrate and support PLCs (Allen-Bradley Siemens) HMIs and SCADA systems
Troubleshoot complex control system issues and minimize downtime
Drive continuous improvement and system optimization
Collaborate with production maintenance and safety teams
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Controls or related field
5 years of controls engineering experience
2 years of leadership experience
Strong PLC programming experience (Allen-Bradley Siemens)
Experience with HMI and SCADA systems
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Preferred

Experience with robotics motion control or industrial networks
Knowledge of electrical schematics and panel design
