Converter control engineer:
- 5 years of demonstrated experience in the Power Converter Industry.
- Masters degree in electrical engineering Control or Power Electronics. PhD is a plus.
- Solid knowledge in control design of grid-connected converters including dynamic system modeling controller design software implementation and validation through simulation and testing.
- Experience with power electronics control including PWM strategies current control DC voltage control and active/reactive power control in three-phase converters.
- Understanding of time domain DQ0 sequence and phasor representations applied to three-phase power systems.
- Experience with simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink PLECS or PSCAD.
- Ability to resolve field issues using structured root cause analysis methods.
- Familiarity with grid connection and compliance assessment with grid codes is a plus.
- Analytical mindset self-driven and proactive in learning and technical development.
- Strong team collaboration and communication skills with various stakeholders.
- Experience in preparing technical documentation and participating in technical reviews.
- Motivated to improve quality through simplicity automation and solid engineering practices.
