Job Summary
Job Title: Programmer 6 (Oracle PL/SQL Developer Data Migration & Integration)
Location: Lansing Michigan (Hybrid Onsite Tuesdays & Wednesdays required)
Duration: 12-month contract with possible extension

Key Responsibilities
- Support the CAPP modernization initiative with primary focus on data migration and ongoing maintenance activities
- Design and maintain Oracle database objects including tables views indexes triggers and constraints
- Develop and optimize PL/SQL packages procedures and functions supporting business logic and ETL processes
- Perform logical and physical data modeling and normalization activities
- Lead data migration and data conversion tasks for system implementations and integrations
- Develop and integrate SOAP and REST-based web services supporting internal and vendor-hosted systems
- Analyze data and metadata to ensure accuracy integrity and compliance with agency standards
- Collaborate with Data Architects and DBAs on performance tuning and database best practices
- Troubleshoot data-related issues and implement corrective solutions
- Participate in technical design sessions estimation activities and documentation efforts
- Support additional agency projects as capacity allows beyond the primary modernization initiative
Required Qualifications
- 8 years of hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL development including packages procedures and functions
- 8 years of experience using Oracle development tools such as Toad and/or SQL Developer
- 8 years of experience designing and maintaining Oracle database objects (tables views indexes triggers)
- 8 years of experience with logical and physical data modeling and database normalization
- Proven experience supporting or integrating vendor-hosted or COTS systems
- 8 years of experience with database programming for data migration and data conversion
- 8 years of experience in data analysis data quality management and metadata management
- 8 years of experience developing and integrating web services using SOAP and/or REST
Work Environment Requirements
- Hybrid schedule required (Onsite Tuesdays and Wednesdays)
- Remote work allowed Mondays Thursdays and Fridays
- Candidates must be able to meet onsite requirements from day one
- Open to local candidates or candidates willing to relocate at their own expense
