Senior Kubernetes Platform Engineer (AWS/EKS)
Location: Hartford CT Hybrid (Relocation candidates considered; must be onsite from Week 1)

This is a senior hands-on engineering role (not management-only)
Candidates must have real production Kubernetes experience
Strong focus on platform architecture scalability and reliability

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Kubernetes Platform Engineer to design build and operate enterprise-grade Kubernetes platforms on AWS. This is a hands-on technical lead role focused on platform architecture Terraform automation container reliability observability and mentoring engineers.

Required Skills:

Strong hands-on Kubernetes (production experience mandatory)
Deep AWS engineering experience (EKS networking IAM etc.)
Advanced Terraform expertise
Strong experience with Docker & container technologies
Monitoring tools: Prometheus Grafana CloudWatch ELK Datadog
Networking knowledge: VPC ingress CNI load balancers
Strong troubleshooting and platform reliability experience
Experience with Helm & GitOps (ArgoCD)
Excellent communication leadership and mentoring skills

Service mesh tools (Istio / Linkerd)
Cert-Manager External-DNS
