Forklift Operator Warehouse

Pay: $22.00/hour
Schedule: 6:00 AM 2:30 PM
About the Role
STORD is hiring Forklift Operators to support daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced modern logistics environment. This position is responsible for safely operating powered industrial equipment to move store and stage product accurately and efficiently.

What Youll Do
- Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment (sit-down stand-up reach truck pallet jack)
- Load and unload inbound and outbound shipments
- Move stack and stage products within the warehouse
- Verify product counts and documentation during receiving and shipping
- Use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track inventory
- Conduct daily equipment safety checks
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work area
- Follow all safety guidelines warehouse procedures and OSHA standards
- Assist with general warehouse tasks as needed
What Were Looking For
- Forklift experience in a warehouse or distribution environment (preferred)
- Ability to become forklift certified (if not already certified)
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Basic computer or WMS experience
- Strong attention to detail and safety
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift push or pull up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand walk bend and operate equipment for extended periods
- Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures
