About the role

As a Cost Analyst youll provide support for the costing processes. Youll oversee the financials and develop and manage the costs for each projects in line with the Target Cost Estimate (TCE) contract.

Youll be provided regular support to upskill you to lead the stakeholder engagement for the project and ensure accurate reporting of all financial information including variance analysis reports for the business.

In supporting the Cost Control activities youll contribute to the effective financial management of the projects. Youll assist with the development and maintain project budgets and support the monitoring of project accruals and commitments maintaining accurate resource and financial forecast data.

Importantly youll measure the health of the program against the cost and project budgets.

About you

You will bring your tertiary qualification in either project management or a related field with your advanced Excel skills knowledge of cost management techniques Earned Value Management estimating quantity surveying and quantitative risk analysis. Youll have previous experience of matrix environment in cost estimating cost engineering or project controls environment and experience continuing to projects of a variety of products and services across all lifecycle phases.

To be successful you will have:

  • Australian Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance
  • Current AU Drivers Licence

This role is based at Henderson WA.
