Hadleigh Community Primary School is seeking an EYFS Teacher to join our enthusiastic and passionate Reception team from September 2026. We are a 3-form entry school with 523 pupils on roll and 60 children in our nursery at the heart of the beautiful market town of Hadleigh. If you are someone with a passion for teaching within the classroom whilst ensuring that your pupils are nurtured then you could be the candidate we seek.
You will:
have a track record of excellent teaching and improving outcomes for all pupils
have experience of planning and teaching within either Nursery or Reception
be confident with the Early Years Curriculum
be confident and familiar with the statutory assessment and reporting requirements in the Early Years Foundation Stage
have the ability to provide the right level of nurture and challenge to enable pupils to make the transition between the Early Years curriculum and the demands of learning in Year 1
be an innovative practitioner who engages with current research and practice
promote high expectations of your pupils colleagues and yourself
be a team player with strong communication skills and have experience of working collaboratively.
