About theRole

Youll lead a highperforming IT Projects Team driving the delivery of councilwide IT programs and projects that underpin essential services and enable a modern customerfocused organisation.

As a key member of the IT leadership group youll:

• Provide strategic direction and handson leadership across complex IT projects and programs
• Shape and deliver digital solutions that support Council operations and community outcomes
• Lead mentor and inspire a multidisciplinary team of project and business analysis professionals
• Partner with senior stakeholders business areas and vendors to deliver measurable value
• Contribute to the development and execution of Councils IT Strategy

Youll be known for:

• Leading enterpriselevel IT projects from concept to delivery with confidence and clarity
• Creating an engaged resilient and futurefocused project team
• Balancing governance innovation and agility in a fastmoving environment
• Building trusted relationships across the organisation and external partners
• Delivering projects that are robust secure sustainable and customercentred

About You

Youre a positive proactive and authentic IT leader who brings out the best in people and delivers outcomes that matter. Youre known for your ability to lead with purpose adapt to change and build strong relationships across the organisation.

Youre great at:

• Significant experience leading technical or project teams
• Exceptional communication influencing and stakeholder engagement skills
• Strong knowledge of contemporary project and program management methodologies
• Innovative problemsolving and sound decisionmaking in complex environments
• Agility and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
• Strategic thinking with the ability to translate vision into practical outcomes
• Strong accountability including responsible financial and resource management
• A tertiary qualification in Project or Program Management (or equivalent) is highly desirable.

This is a Level 8 position which has a current salary range of $136588 - $145958 per annum (plus Super).
