Experience: Minimum 2 years experience as a Legal Secretary (ideally within Clinical Negligence Personal Injury or a related litigation area)
Our client is looking to appoint an experienced Clinical Negligence Legal Secretary to join a highly regarded Clinical Negligence department.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a capable proactive legal support professional who enjoys working in a specialist fast-paced team and takes pride in delivering excellent client care and high-quality work.
You will play a key role supporting the Head of Department and the wider team of fee earners on a varied and complex caseload of clinical negligence matters.
Key responsibilities will include:
High-quality secretarial and administrative support including audio and copy typing of legal documents and correspondence
Diary management scheduling appointments and supporting file opening and closing procedures
Producing and preparing Court documents and electronic bundles
Liaising with clients and professionals via telephone and email
Supporting forms and case management processes including invoicing and billing
Assisting with audit preparation for Legal Aid and ATE providers
What Were Looking For
At least 2 years experience as a legal secretary ideally within Clinical Negligence Personal Injury or a related litigation area
Experience working with an electronic case management system (working knowledge of Partner for Windows would be an advantage)
Strong understanding of clinical negligence case funding (ATE/BTE)
Knowledge of Legal Aid funding and CCMS would be advantageous
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive and professional approach
Exceptional attention to detail organisation and time management skills
