Customer Service Representative part-time SpayNeuter Services

Job Summary
Were looking for a team player to deliver excellent customer service in a personable friendly manner to our adopters and clients who visit our Spay/Neuter Services at the Central California SPCA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule and manage client appointments using practice management software
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records (EMR) and client documentation
- Monitor and track inventory ensuring timely updates in the system
- Manage the full client visit process including check-in service coordination and discharge for surgical and vaccination appointments
- Provide exceptional customer service with a friendly professional and compassionate approach
- Communicate clearly with clients and relay important information to veterinarians and management
- Educate clients on responsible pet ownership animal care and available services
- Accurately process cash and credit card transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the facility including reception exam rooms and common areas
- Keep workstations clean and organized at all times
- Stay informed on services programs and promotions to better assist clients
- Promote services programs and donation opportunities in alignment with organizational policies
- Follow all safety sanitation and disease control protocols
- Perform general facility upkeep and support daily operations as needed
Requirements
Qualifications & Expectations:
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to handle stressful situations and good problem solving skills.
- Ability to work cooperatively with a diverse group of people.
- At least 6 months prior customer service experience answering phones and money handling experience.
- High comfort level with computers specifically a working knowledge of Microsoft products.
Benefits
This position is a part-time position. 20-25 hours/week. Temp to hire position.
Schedule: Tuesdays Wednesdays and Thursdays: 7AM-330PM
Mondays and Fridays- some half days if needed
$17.50/hour
