Junior Embedded Software Engineer
Job Summary
You will use your knowledge of the discipline of the processes and of the engineering tools to help Honeywell (Fire Division) deliver innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of our customers. You will work under limited supervision and alongside more experienced engineers. You will contribute to the development of the next generation of Honeywell products in the field of fire systems and sensors by designing testing and/or validating products/processes from prototype to market. You will be part of a highly committed group of professionals who deliver expertise to ensure the success of complex engineering projects and programmes. You will interact with internal and external customers in order to facilitate the completion of products to customer specifications.
Responsibilities
- Execution of projects (software design and debugging) following internal programming standards.
- Assistance in product software certification at the approving entities.
- Proposal of technical improvements.
- Participation in project risk analysis (FMEA).
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering or similar in technical-scientific area.
- Good will and desire to get involved.
- Predisposition to teamwork.
- Problem solving.
- Desire to work in a dynamic environment.
- Basic knowledge of software design.
- Knowledge of the main electrical measuring instruments (oscilloscope multimeter).
- Basic knowledge of the English language.
- Knowledge of C/C/C# language
- Knowledge of DevOps tools (Jira Git BitBucket).
