Position Overview

As aLead Toddler Teacher you will play an important role in creating a safe engaging and developmentally appropriate learning environment for children. You will help guide childrens growth while building strong relationships with families and colleagues.

Our teachers help create a positive classroom culture while supporting childrens emotional social and developmental needs.

Lead Teacher Responsibilities

• Ensure thehealth safety and supervision of childrenat all times
• Maintain classroomratios and supervision standards
• Support apositive and nurturing classroom environment
• Assist with planning and implementingdevelopmentally appropriate activities
• Lead activities such asstorytime centers music and play-based learning
• Encourage children to follow classroomrules and routines
• Monitor childrensdevelopment and progress
• Communicate professionally withparents and leadership
• Uphold Magic Memoriespolicies procedures and core values
  
  

Position Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience:Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Early Childhood Education (infanttoddler or preschool age).
• Education:Associates or Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred. Candidates with a High School Diploma are also considered; pay will vary based on experience.
• CDA Pathway:$0.50/hour increase upon CDA enrollment with an additional $0.50/hour after completion.
• Strongcommunication classroom management and interpersonal skills.
• Ability tocollaborate with colleagues and build positive relationships with families.
• Genuinepassion for teaching and supporting childrens growth and development.
• Flexibility organization and a positive attitude in a dynamic classroom environment.
