MMM Data Scientist Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist with expertise in Media Mix Modeling (MMM) to join our dynamic analytics team and work on-site with our client in Hoboken NJ or Sunnyvale California. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in providing actionable insights and optimizing marketing spend across various channels by leveraging statistical models and data-driven techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Media Mix Models to optimize marketing spend across different channels (e.g. TV digital radio print etc.).
• Analyze historical data to understand the impact of marketing efforts and determine the effectiveness of different media channels.
• Collaborate with marketing and business teams to translate business objectives into quantitative analyses and actionable insights.
• Build predictive models to forecast the impact of future marketing activities and recommend budget allocation.
• Present and communicate complex findings in a clear concise and actionable manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Perform deep-dive analyses of marketing campaigns and customer data to identify trends opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Ensure data integrity accuracy and consistency in all analyses and models.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and advancements in media mix modeling marketing analytics and data science.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Engineering Marketing and Business Intelligence to ensure seamless data flow and integration.
• Create and maintain documentation for all models methodologies and analysis processes.

Qualifications :

Bachelors or Masters degree in Data Science Statistics Economics Mathematics or a related field with 3 years of post-grad experience.

  1. Proficiency in Python for data analysis and modeling
  2. Strong SQL skills for data querying and manipulation
  3. Advanced Excel skills for data handling and reporting
  4. Ability to create clear compelling presentations in PowerPoint

Additional Information :

The starting pay range for this role is $100000 - $140000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent on several factors including but not limited to relevant experience skills certifications training and location. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range and determining factors for compensation are considered for each individual circumstance.
