Job Summary
The Department of Leadership and Talent Development at Purdue University Fort Wayne () seeks a Visiting Assistant Professor for the 2026-27 academic year with a primary specialization in one of the following areas: leadership organizational behavior or human resource management to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses in leadership and human resource addition the selected candidate will be expected to serve on campus committees (predominantly at the departmental level).
Qualifications
Required:
- PhD/terminal degree or ABD in leadership organizational behavior human resource management industrial/organizational psychology or a closely related field.
- Exceptional candidates with a masters degree in leadership organizational behavior human resource management industrial/organizational psychology or related field who have extensive work and/or teaching experience may be considered.
Preferred:
- Prior college-level teaching experience and/or relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated success in teaching face-to-face and/or hybrid and/or online courses.
Possible Courses
This is a 4/4 teaching load. The department offers a broad portfolio of courses in Organizational Behavior Leadership and Human Resource Management. The successful candidate will be expected to teach courses in one or more of these areas based on department needs.
