Cost Controller

Kanadevia Inova is recruiting a Project Cost Controller to support our Protos Energy Recovery Facility (ERF) project team where Kanadevia Inova is constructing a carbon capture plant located near Ellesmere Port in Cheshire North West England. This position plays a key part in ensuring effective financial control and project performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor project costs analyse deviations from plan and provide accurate cost forecasts (cost to complete).

• Collaborate closely with the Lead Project Controller and key stakeholders across Head Office (Zurich) and site teams.

• Manage local project costs including petty cash credit cards and project bank accounts in coordination with regional and HQ accounting.

• Support revenue recognition and project margin control through accruals for Civil and Site Lots.

• Review and approve subcontractor invoices ensuring accuracy and compliance with project budgets.

Qualifications :

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience in cost control within construction engineering or project accounting environments.

• Strong knowledge of SAP (PS SD MM FI modules).

• Advanced MS Office skills particularly Excel.

• Solid understanding of project controlling financial management and EPC contract structures.

• Experience with Percentage-of-Completion (PoC) accounting under IFRS is highly desirable.
