Imaging Associates is proudly owned by a respected team of Radiologists. We operate successful practices across Melbournes eastern suburbs Gippsland and Wagga Wagga with more exciting growth ahead in 2026 and beyond.

As part of this expansion were seeking a dynamic and experienced Administration Team Leader to launch and lead the administration function at our new Doncaster clinic opening in mid 2026.

Training will commence as soon as possible for the right candidate at our nearby clinics (Box Hill and surrounding locations) to ensure youre fully equipped to hit the ground running.

This is more than a leadership role its an opportunity to build a patient-focused team foster a positive and inclusive culture and create a seamless clinic experience that supports outstanding care for our patients and referrers.

About the Role

Working closely with the Administration Manager and Clinic Lead(s) you will take a hands-on leadership approach to:

• Oversee and actively support the day-to-day operations of reception and clinic workflow
• Lead billing banking and Medicare processes with accuracy
• Coach mentor and develop team members to reach their full potential
• Communicate and implement business updates and process improvements
• Support the coordination of workforce planning rostering and leave management
• Manage escalations and resolve complex enquiries with professionalism and empathy
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance patient experience and operational efficiency

About You

You are an experienced healthcare administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and leads with addition you will bring:

• Experience in a private Radiology setting (highly regarded)
• Strong understanding of patient workflows administrative processes and Medicare billing
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to engage with a variety of stakeholders
• Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to prioritise under pressure
• Sound judgement and problem-solving capability
• A proactive mindset with a passion for continuous improvement
