Human Resources Executive (Business Partner)
Job Summary
POSITION SUMMARY
Reporting to the Assistant Director of Human Resources the incumbent plays in integral role in aligning business objectives by the tactical execution of talent strategies. Essential functions of the role include:
- Lead for talent acquisition initiatives
- Looking after the full employment life cycle of the Ladies and Gentlemen within the assigned business units
- Execution of engagement and retention strategies
- Leading and executing employee awards and service anniversary events
- Executing Marriott TakeCare initiatives which includes a wide genre of activities from Community Footprints (corporate social responsibility) to recreational/sporting events
CORE DUTIES
- Assist and support management and the leadership team with handling and resolving Human Resources issues
- Assist Ladies and Gentlemen with internal and external transfer requests and procedures
- Create and maintain new hire and personnel files and enter them into Human Resources Information Systems
- Assist with orientation of new Ladies and Gentlemen
- Monitor all hiring and recruitment processes for compliance with all local laws and company policies and standards
- Ensure accurate maintenance of all employee records and files
- Support processing and maintenance of payroll records in accordance with policies and procedures as necessary
- Inform Human Resources management of issues related to employee relations within the division or property
- Create and maintain filing systems
- Generate Human Resources data reports as necessary
- Serve as Human Resources subject matter expert and participate on project teams
- Train new hires on Human Resources processes programs policies information systems etc

Essential
- Degree/Diploma in Human Resources Management or Hospitality/Hotel Management
- Passionate interest in the luxury hospitality industry
- Eloquent and well-spoken; excellent command of English in both verbal and written communication
- Well-groomed with a refined and polished decorum
- Outgoing and enjoys organising a variety of recreational activities from recreational to sporting events
Desirable
- Previous experience in luxury hospitality industry preferably a luxury hotel
