• Weekly Hours: 42.5

Position Overview

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) for a daytime role in a busy sleep lab. The role involves conducting and scoring sleep studies analyzing clinical data and ensuring high-quality patient care across both adult and pediatric populations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and score sleep studies following AASM standards
• Analyze sleep/wake stages and clinical events (respiratory cardiac limb movements arousals)
• Monitor patients throughout studies and ensure safety
• Conduct patient assessments (history medications sleep habits)
• Set up and score Home Sleep Tests (HST)
• Generate reports and communicate findings with physicians
• Participate in quality assurance and inter-scorer reliability testing
• Train and mentor new staff members
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR
• Operate sleep lab systems including Natus Sleepworks
• Ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards

Required Qualifications

• RPSGT Certification (Required)
• BLS Certification
• Minimum 2 years of sleep tech experience
• Experience with adult & pediatric sleep studies
• Experience with Home Sleep Test setup & scoring
• Proficiency in Epic EMR
• Experience with Natus Sleepworks
• Strong knowledge of AASM guidelines
• Ability to assist with patient movement (lifting up to 75100 lbs)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in high-volume sleep labs
• Travel/contract experience
• Teaching or preceptor experience
