Manager Accounting

Location: Bang Bo Samut Prakan Thailand

Our client a global semiconductor leader with a major manufacturing presence in Thailand is seeking a Manager Accounting to lead financial reporting tax and treasury matters for the local entity.

Your Role

• Responsible for accurate and timely financial reporting accounting and closing tasks; ensure compliance with accounting guidelines policies and internal control procedures
• Manage all tax matters including incentive requirements and regulatory submissions
• Oversee treasury and corporate secretarial matters including review of cash flow forecasts and preparation of board meetings and resolutions
• Establish and improve local financial processes to comply with applicable local regulations and reporting requirements
• Act as a valuable business partner to internal and external stakeholders on accounting financial reporting and tax providing up-to-date technical knowledge and advisory support
• Support the annual audit process by preparing relevant schedules and documentation ensuring timeliness in Group and Statutory reporting deadlines
• Manage the service quality of shared services to ensure compliance is met
• Support finance-related projects including process enhancement and digitalisation initiatives

Your Profile

• Degree in Accounting or equivalent
• 8 to 10 years of relevant accounting and tax experience; candidates with audit background at a Big 4 firm are preferred
• Sound knowledge of IFRS accounting guidelines
• Analytical meticulous with strong communication skills and a collaborative team player mindset
• Able to work independently with a positive attitude and willingness to take initiative and ownership
• Proficient in SAP and Excel; technology-savvy with experience in data visualisation tools such as Tableau or similar is an advantage
• Good command of English
