Job Summary

Sales Manager required for a growing chemicals business quietly building a strong position in the North American market. They sit somewhere between distribution and trading supplying industrial and speciality chemicals through both stocked product and direct producer relationships. Its a model that gives their sales team real flexibility in how they win and structure deals.

With a new office now established in Texas theyre looking to bring in a Sales Executive to help drive growth and build out new customer relationships.

This is a hands-on role. Youll be expected to go out and win business build your own pipeline and manage accounts commercially not just maintain them. Youll work across the full deal cycle from identifying opportunities through to pricing sourcing and delivery with direct exposure to both customers and suppliers.

The environment is fast-moving and commercially driven. Decisions arent buried in layers and youll have the autonomy to operate properly in the market. If youve worked in chemical distribution or trading before youll recognise the model straight away.

Theyre looking for someone who has already sold industrial or speciality chemicals and knows how to open doors. Someone who understands that margin matters as much as volume and is comfortable taking ownership of deals rather than passing them through a process.

What Theyre Looking For

  • Experience selling industrial or speciality chemicals (distribution or trading environment)
  • A track record of winning new business and growing revenue
  • Strong commercial awareness comfortable with pricing margin and deal ownership
  • Able to operate independently and build a pipeline from scratch
  • Willingness to be in the market meeting customers and developing relationships

Nice to have:

Experience selling into brick & tile manufacturing Oil & Gas Water Treatment or agricultural markets and familiarity with SAP
