About the role.

Were looking for a Senior Retail Category Manager to lead category strategy and elevate commercial outcomes across our retail channel. This role drives longterm category thinking influences business-wide planning and strengthens our partnerships with major Australian retailers.

Youll shape the category vision champion insightsled conversations and guide internal teams in delivering strategies that unlock growth and profitability.

About You.

What youll be doing.

• Lead the ANZ category vision and 3year strategy for the retail channel using insights to identify growth opportunities.
• Shape AOC planning to influence brand private label sales and innovation strategies.
• Deliver ongoing category performance reviews insights and reporting for key stakeholders.
• Drive strategic insightsled retailer engagement and lead conversations on ranging pricing and future opportunities.
• Lead coach and prioritise the work of a small category team ensuring highquality insights clear direction and strong stakeholder outcomes.
• Provide optimisation recommendations across range space and portfolio architecture.
• Support joint business planning and activation across instore and ecommerce channels.

What youll need to be successful.

• 5 years experience leading category management for major retailers including range space price and promotional optimisation.
• Proven experience leading coaching and developing a team to deliver highquality outcomes.
• Proven experience influencing crossfunctional teams within a complex matrix environment.
• Strong understanding of established Australian retailers and emerging channel dynamics.
• Ability to influence without authority and build collaborative internal and external partnerships.
• Demonstrated success in category growth profitability improvement and insightsdriven strategy.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills with business qualifications preferred.

About the team.

Youll be part of a highly collaborative insightsdriven commercial team. This role partners closely with Marketing Sales Finance Insights and crossfunctional Category Leadership teams (Operations Supply Chain R&D). Youll play a pivotal role in shaping category direction and influencing business decisions across the retail channel.
