Support Engineer Intern

Job Summary
****Looking for local candidates. This is not a development/programming position. It does have security aspects but is also not just a security position.
The support engineer interns duties are to provide responsive support onsite and remotely to perform preventative maintenance tasks (including monthly reports) to document client settings and changes and to monitor client system person is responsible for providing exceptional service to their assigned clients taking full ownership of support issues and by maintaining adequate response support engineer intern will also assist the Infrastructure Engineering team as needed for project support engineer intern may also be asked to research new technologies or ways to optimize current support engineer intern will also be expected to study for and complete examinations in order to achieve technical certifications.
Requirements:
- Education Four year college degree (or in progress) focusing on IT or computer and certifications may supplant this requirement.
- Experience One to three years of similar work may supplant this requirement.
- Interpersonal Skills Contact with others outside of the company is very demeanor and phone oratory skills are communication courtesy ambition tact and diplomacy are essential.
- Other Skills Technical certifications from Microsoft are technical certifications are also encouraged.
