We are seeking an experienced and dynamic General Manager to lead a large multi-faceted leisure centre in London. This is a fantastic opportunity to take the helm of a vibrant community hub overseeing a diverse facility that includes a swimming pool fitness gym group exercise studios and a wide-ranging programme of wellbeing activities.

The Role
As General Manager you will have full operational and commercial responsibility for the site. You will lead a large multidisciplinary team ensuring the highest standards of service delivery health & safety and customer experience. You will drive performance across all areas of the business balancing financial sustainability with a genuine focus on community impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership and direction to a large team across multiple departments

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the leisure centre including pool gym and studios

• Drive commercial performance membership growth and retention

• Ensure exceptional customer experience and community engagement

• Maintain the highest standards of health safety and compliance

• Manage budgets reporting and overall site performance

About You

• Proven experience as a General Manager within a similar leisure fitness or multi-use facility

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop large teams

• Commercially astute with a track record of delivering results

• Passionate about health wellbeing and community-focused services

• Excellent organisational and communication skills

• A hands-on proactive approach with the ability to manage a fast-paced environment
