Position Summary

Dp Derm is seeking a strategic hands-on Sales Manager to lead and develop our national field sales organization. This role is responsible for coaching performance management and execution across a team of Territory Account Executives operating in the field.

The ideal candidate is an experienced field sales leader who knows how to build structure coach to outcomes and drive consistent performance in a remote geographically distributed environment. This is a people leadership role focused on execution accountability and scale.

Role Overview

This role leads a team of field-based Territory Account Executives. You will establish performance standards coaching cadences and operating rhythms while ensuring reps are effectively prospecting closing new business and expanding accounts post-sale.

This is not an inside sales or call-center leadership role. It is a true field sales management position requiring travel and hands-on rep development.

Key Responsibilities

Field Sales Leadership & Coaching

  • Lead coach and support a national team of 8-10 field-based Territory Account Executives
  • Conduct regular one-on-ones pipeline reviews and performance coaching
  • Ride along with reps to observe in-field execution and provide real-time coaching
  • Foster a culture of accountability ownership and continuous improvement

Performance Management & Execution

  • Set clear expectations around activity pipeline health and quota attainment
  • Monitor territory performance and address gaps early
  • Partner with reps to build strategic territory plans
  • Hold reps accountable to execution follow-up and CRM discipline
  • Is directly responsible for ensuring each territory consistently meets or exceeds a $40000 monthly quota

Process Systems & CRM Ownership

  • Enforce consistent sales processes and operating cadence across the field team
  • Ensure strong CRM hygiene and adoption using HubSpot
  • Own forecasting cadence and pipeline reporting
  • Leverage data to drive coaching prioritization and performance improvements

Training & Enablement

  • Lead onboarding and ramp for new field sales hires
  • Deliver ongoing training on product knowledge sales execution and territory strategy
  • Reinforce consistent messaging pricing discipline and sales methodology

Recruiting & Team Growth

  • Recruit interview and onboard high-performing field sales talent
  • Partner with leadership on territory coverage and expansion planning
  • Set clear ramp expectations and success metrics for new hires

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with marketing clinical education and operations to support field execution
  • Improve sales-to-onboarding handoffs and overall customer experience

Industry & Field Presence

  • Travel regularly to support reps in their territories
  • Attend regional and national trade shows and industry events
  • Represent Dp Derm professionally in the field

What Success Looks Like

  • Field reps consistently meet or exceed quota
  • Territories show predictable month-over-month growth
  • Reps execute with confidence discipline and autonomy
  • CRM data is accurate timely and forecastable
  • Performance issues are identified and corrected early
  • Leadership has confidence in field execution and reporting

Required Experience & Competencies

  • 3 to 5 plus years of experience managing field sales teams
  • Must have hands-on experience building a sales team from zero including hiring onboarding establishing processes and driving early-stage performance
  • Experience in medical aesthetics pharma or health-related sales required
  • Proven success coaching and scaling remote field-based reps
  • Strong understanding of territory planning and new business development
  • Highly process oriented with strong execution discipline
  • HubSpot proficiency required
  • Excellent coaching communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage and motivate diverse field sales personalities

Education & Requirements

  • Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
  • Willingness to travel domestically on a regular basis
  • Flexibility for occasional weekend travel for events or training
  • Days in lieu provided for weekend business activities

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $100000 to $110000
  • Monthly team performance override and monthly team attainment bonus opportunities
