Role Overview

This role supports business operations by analyzing requirements identifying opportunities for improvement and helping design effective solutions. Youll work with data systems and stakeholders to drive informed decision-making and enhance organizational efficiency.

What Youll Actually Do

• Analyze business requirements and evaluate current processes to identify improvement opportunities
• Gather and interpret data industry trends and organizational needs to support strategic objectives
• Assist in designing and recommending system or process solutions based on business needs
• Prepare reports and insights by analyzing data and summarizing key trends
• Write queries and generate reports using data tools to support analytical and operational initiatives
• Provide guidance on the business implications of system usage and changes
• Support decision-making by delivering data-driven insights to stakeholders
• Collaborate cross-functionally with business and technical teams in a data-driven environment
• Participate in quality assurance activities as needed
• Handle complex problems independently escalating only the most advanced issues
• Mentor or provide guidance to more junior team members when applicable

• Data querying and reporting tools (e.g. SQL-based systems)
• Business analysis and reporting environments
• Cross-functional collaboration with business and technical teams

What Theyre Looking For

• 26 years of related experience in business analysis data analysis or similar roles
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Customer-focused mindset
• Ability to build relationships across teams
• Leadership or mentorship capabilities

Youll Stand Out If You Have Experience With

• Translating business requirements into technical or functional specifications
• Working with data to drive operational or strategic decisions
• Supporting system improvements or implementation efforts
• Performing quality assurance or validation activities
• Coaching or mentoring junior team members

Education

• Bachelors degree equivalent experience or a combination of both
• Completion of industry-relevant coursework or training programs (e.g. insurance fundamentals)

Work Environment

• This is a hybrid position with in-office collaboration days (approximately 3 days per week). The role can be based in the Midwest region.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $86000 - $108000
