Job Summary
Security & Fire Systems Technician
We are seeking a skilled Security & Fire Systems Technician with hands-on experience installing programming and servicing commercial low-voltage systems. This role supports enterprise clients and offers the opportunity to work with advanced security and life safety technologies in the field.
What Youll Do
- Install terminate configure and test commercial security and fire systems
- Service and troubleshoot CCTV access control intrusion and fire alarm systems
- Program and commission IP-based video and access control platforms
- Lead installation projects and oversee field teams when required
- Track project progress and ensure quality control from start to finish
- Provide remote diagnostics and technical support to customers
- Deliver a high level of professionalism and customer service on every job
What You Bring
- 3 years of experience with commercial low-voltage systems
- Strong background in:
- Access Control
- IP Video / CCTV
- Intrusion Detection
- Fire Alarm Systems
- Experience leading projects or acting as a lead technician in the field
- Solid understanding of IP networking and system integration
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot effectively
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Nice to Have
- NICET certification (Fire Alarm or relevant discipline)
- Experience with video analytics visitor management or enterprise platforms
- Technical school or military training in electronics or communications
