Position:Full-Time Live-Out Household Manager
Schedule:

• MondayFriday approximately 6:30AM - 6:30PM ( two weeks on two weeks off) Saturday 4 hrs
• Two weeks on two weeks off overtime pay provided
• Salary:$50/hr DOE

  Relocation:No local candidates only

A warm and welcoming private family located in Alexandria VA is seeking a dedicated experienced and professional Household Managerto join their household. They value discretion reliability and a proactive individual who will be a long-term fit and take pride in running a highly organized well-functioning home.

Children:Two children 12 and 15 years old
Home Size:Private residence
Pets:One well-behaved 16 lb dog (Opal)
Household Staff:Additional household staff currently employed

Responsibilities

Food & Meal Preparation

• Meal preparation will be done by someone else but some cooking required
• Create aproper dinner-table experience including table setting presentation and reinforcing good table manners

Household Management

• Oversee daily household operations and ensure the home is consistently guest-ready and travel-ready
• Manage vendors service providers errands household supplies and general problem-solving
  • Including coordinating repairs communicating with property managers and sourcing household items
• Maintain household systems schedules and inventories

Family & Personal Support

• Support daily household rhythms involving the principal and children
• Chauffeur children as needed (school drop-offs pick-ups activities appointments)
• Provide personal assistance including reservations bookings errands and logistics

Pet Care

• Providefull pet carefor Opal including coordinating vet visits grooming medications and ongoing care management

Requirements

• Culinary training or extensive private cooking experience
• Minimum of 78 years of experience in private service or household management
• Proven experience managing staff vendors
• Comfortable working with teenagersand dogs
• Strong organizational and technology skills
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Valid passport and ability to travel if needed
• Excellent verifiable references
