Job Summary
A leading global player in renewable energy development is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join their team as a Project Managerand contribute to the seamless integration of utility-scale photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage systems (BESS) into the German energy grid.
The role will focus on technical aspects of grid connection working closely with TSOs/DSOs and external consultants to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee grid connection processes for large-scale PV and BESS projects.
Develop grid connection concepts and coordinate approvals with TSOs/DSOs.
Collaborate on cable routing site layouts and necessary permits/approvals.
Support technical design and ensure compliance with German grid codes.
Coordinate with external consultants for acoustic assessments visual impact studies and other technical reports.
Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting within the team.
Your profile :
Bachelors or Masters in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
5years of experience in renewable energy project development focusing on grid connection for PV and BESS projects.
In-depth knowledge of German grid codes and regulations.
Experience working with TSOs/DSOs is highly desirable.
Fluency in German and English.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in grid integration and a passion for contributing to renewable energy advancements. Experience with battery energy storage projects is a plus.
