Job Summary

A leading global player in renewable energy development is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join their team as a Project Managerand contribute to the seamless integration of utility-scale photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage systems (BESS) into the German energy grid.

The role will focus on technical aspects of grid connection working closely with TSOs/DSOs and external consultants to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee grid connection processes for large-scale PV and BESS projects.

  • Develop grid connection concepts and coordinate approvals with TSOs/DSOs.

  • Collaborate on cable routing site layouts and necessary permits/approvals.

  • Support technical design and ensure compliance with German grid codes.

  • Coordinate with external consultants for acoustic assessments visual impact studies and other technical reports.

  • Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting within the team.


Your profile :

  • Bachelors or Masters in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).

  • 5years of experience in renewable energy project development focusing on grid connection for PV and BESS projects.

  • In-depth knowledge of German grid codes and regulations.

  • Experience working with TSOs/DSOs is highly desirable.

  • Fluency in German and English.


The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in grid integration and a passion for contributing to renewable energy advancements. Experience with battery energy storage projects is a plus.
