Key Responsibilities:
Apply fundamental accounting principles to support financial reporting and analysis
Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity across systems
Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies trends and improvement opportunities
Prepare reports documentation and summaries for internal stakeholders
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support accounting and business operations
Troubleshoot issues related to financial data and resolve discrepancies efficiently
Recommend process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy
Adapt to changing priorities and support ad hoc accounting projects as needed
Ensure compliance with organizational policies and accounting standards
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in accounting Finance or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting or financial analysis experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong understanding of basic accounting concepts and principles
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint Outlook)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High level of attention to detail and accuracy
Strong analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with PeopleSoft or similar ERP systems
Prior experience in a Higher Education or public sector environment
