Role Overview
We are seeking a PSU Engineer / Power Supply Design Engineer to design develop and
validate high-efficiency power supply solutions for advanced compute and
communication systems.
The role involves AC-DC / DC-DC converter design power architecture and system
integration ensuring optimal efficiency reliability and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
1. Power Supply Design & Development
Design and develop:
o AC-DC power supplies (SMPS)
o DC-DC converters (buck boost flyback forward LLC etc.)
Define power architecture for system-level applications
Select components:
o Transformers inductors MOSFETs controllers capacitors

2. Simulation & Analysis
Perform circuit simulations using:
o LTspice PSpice Simplis MATLAB
Analyze:
o Efficiency ripple switching losses
o Transient response and stability
Optimize designs for thermal and electrical performance

3. Power Integrity & System Integration
Design Power Distribution Network (PDN)
Ensure compatibility with:
o SoCs FPGAs CPUs/GPUs
Collaborate with hardware and PCB teams for:
o Layout guidelines and grounding schemes

4. Testing & Validation
Perform validation using:
o Oscilloscopes electronic loads power analyzers
Measure:
o Efficiency ripple/noise load regulation
Debug issues related to:
o EMI/EMC thermal hotspots instability
Perform validation using:

5. Compliance & Standards
Ensure designs meet:
o Safety standards (UL IEC)
o EMI/EMC compliance (CISPR FCC)
Support certification and documentation

6. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with:
o Hardware design PCB layout and thermal teams
o Firmware teams for power management features
Support manufacturing and production ramp-up

Strong expertise in:
o Power electronics and SMPS design
o AC-DC and DC-DC converter topologies
Good understanding of:

o Control loop stability and compensation
