QA Lead with Strong Sleneium

Role Overview

We are seeking a QA Lead with strong expertise in Selenium automation and proven experience leading migration projects from Tosca to Selenium. This role requires a hands-on leader who can design implement and oversee automation frameworks guide teams through tool migration and ensure high-quality delivery across software testing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead QA automation initiatives with a focus on Selenium WebDriver.
• Drive and manage the migration of test automation frameworks from Tosca to Selenium.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (development product DevOps) to align testing strategies with project goals.
• Design develop and maintain robust automation frameworks and reusable test scripts.
• Establish best practices for automation including CI/CD integration and reporting.
• Mentor and guide QA engineers ensuring adherence to quality standards and efficient test execution.
• Perform root cause analysis of defects and provide actionable insights to improve product quality.
• Document processes frameworks and migration strategies for knowledge sharing and future scalability.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and automation frameworks.
• Proven track record of migrating test automation from Tosca to Selenium.
• Expertise in test automation design scripting and execution.
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies SDLC and Agile practices.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g. Jenkins GitLab Azure DevOps).
• Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with other automation tools (e.g. TestNG JUnit Cucumber).
• Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g. Postman RestAssured).
• Knowledge of cloud-based test environments (e.g. Sauce Labs BrowserStack).
• Exposure to performance testing and security testing frameworks.
• Prior experience in leading QA teams and managing large-scale automation projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
• 10 years of QA experience with at least 3 years in a lead role.
• Demonstrated success in tool migration projects (Tosca Selenium).
