Job Summary
1D Simulation Engineer - Job Description
Develop and maintain 1D simulation models for vehicle systems such as thermal HVAC energy and cooling loops.
Perform steady state and transient simulations to evaluate system performance under various operating conditions.
Support component sizing system architecture decisions and trade off studies using simulation results.
Correlate simulation models with bench and vehicle test data to improve model accuracy and robustness.
Conduct sensitivity and what if analyses to identify key performance drivers and optimization opportunities.
Collaborate with design controls and test teams to align simulation assumptions and results.
Support creation of test plans and instrumentation requirements based on simulation insights.
Document models assumptions and results in clear technical reports and presentations.
Contribute to continuous improvement of simulation methods tools and best practices.
Qualification:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering
