Job Title: National Account Manager (NRC) Classification: Exempt Department: National Restaurant Chain Reports To: Sales Leadership
Job Summary
The National Account Manager is responsible for executing and managing sales programs for restaurant accounts across the United States. This role focuses on building strong relationships with customers vendors and broker partners to drive revenue growth and expand market presence.
The ideal candidate will lead high-volume sales initiatives manage national accounts and develop strategic partnerships within premium and upscale foodservice segments. This position plays a key role in driving growth for sous vide products and food manufacturing solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage a pipeline of large multi-location restaurant accounts
Drive profitable revenue growth within national restaurant chains (200 units)
Promote and sell sous vide and culinary manufacturing solutions to chefs operators and decision-makers
Lead contract negotiations pricing strategies forecasting and onboarding processes
Collaborate cross-functionally with culinary and manufacturing teams to deliver customized solutions
Represent the organization at industry events trade shows and networking opportunities
Required Experience & Skills
5 7 years of sales experience in upscale or premium foodservice markets
Proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar annual sales targets
Experience in sous vide culinary technology or food manufacturing
Strong national account management and relationship-building skills
Excellent negotiation communication and strategic planning abilities
Willingness to travel (approximately 40 60%)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with national restaurant chains or foodservice distributors
Culinary background or hands-on familiarity with sous vide techniques
Strong understanding of customer needs timelines and operational goals
Established network within the foodservice or hospitality industry
Success Metrics
Achievement of monthly and annual sales targets
Growth and retention of national accounts
Strength and depth of customer and broker relationships
Ability to deliver tailored value-driven solutions to clients
