Job Summary

Job title: Insurance Coverage Attorney (Hybrid)

Location:Austin TX

Salary:$130000 - $180000/year

What you will be doing:

Join a national and international insurance coverage practice.
Collaborate globally while being based in Austin.
Handle diverse coverage cases such as excess and surplus lines general liability construction defect D&O environmental personal and advertising injury claims in Texas.
Analyze coverage issues and draft coverage opinions pleadings and dispositive motions.
Conduct discovery in insurance coverage litigation.
Engage in tasks such as taking and defending depositions attending court conferences or arguing motions (helpful but not required).
Participate in significant business development training.
Work with dedicated associate and partner mentors.
Engage with a firm-wide associate committee to liaise with partners.

Experience you will need:

38 years of relevant and diverse coverage experience.
Strong litigation background.
Experience in analyzing coverage issues and drafting related documents.
Admitted and in good standing in Texas.
Additional admissions in other states are a plus.
