Our client a well-established electrical contractor is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee crews on commercial and industrial this leadership role youll be responsible for supervising field teams coordinating day-to-day operations and ensuring projects are completed safely on time and to high standards of quality. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who enjoys mentoring others solving challenges in the field taking ownership of jobsite execution and representing a company known for its reliability and craftsmanship.
Electrical Superintendent Responsibilities:
- Provide overall field leadership for commercial and industrial electrical projects driving execution from mobilization through final turnover.
- Review construction documents specifications and coordination drawings to ensure code compliance.
- Direct site activities establishing daily priorities production targets and quality standards across active job sites.
- Oversee workforce planning materials equipment allocation and other items as needed to maintain schedule and budget alignment.
- Champion a culture of safety enforcing site protocols and proactively mitigating risk.
- Serve as the primary on-site liaison partnering with project management general contractors inspectors and owners to resolve issues and maintain project momentum.
- Lead field problem-solving efforts addressing design conflicts sequencing challenges and unforeseen site conditions with minimal disruption.
- Track progress and provide updates to leadership.
Electrical Superintendent Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience as a Foreman or Superintendent on commercial/industrial projects.
- Experience leading $2m value projects.
- Strong leadership skills with an interest in training and team development.
- Thorough knowledge of NEC standards and local codes.
- Effective communicator with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with field-based technology for scheduling and reporting.
- Valid drivers license required.
