Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and flexible Field Support Staff member to join our team. This key role will provide on-the-ground support across our 7 sites ensuring quality standards are maintained and operational challenges such as staff-to-child ratios are effectively managed. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone passionate about childcare and early education who thrives in a fast-paced and varied environment.

Key Responsibilities


Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Support nursery managers and teams to uphold the highest quality standards in care and education.
    • Provide feedback and guidance to staff to enhance learning environments and daily practices.
  • Ratio Support:
    • Assist with staff coverage to ensure compliance with staff-to-child ratios at all sites.
    • Step into rooms to support teams during peak times absences or emergencies.
  • Operational Support:
    • Work closely with managers to address immediate operational needs.
    • Act as a liaison between nurseries and the central team communicating challenges and solutions effectively.
  • Training and Development:
    • Mentor staff to improve practices and maintain consistency across all sites.
    • Assist with the onboarding of new team members ensuring they integrate smoothly into their roles.
  • Health and Safety Compliance:
    • Monitor and uphold all health and safety policies and procedures.
    • Address any compliance issues proactively to maintain a safe and secure environment.


What Were Looking For:


What Were Looking For:
  • A minimum of Level 3 qualification in Early Years or equivalent.
  • Experience in a senior childcare role such as Deputy Manager Manager or Area Support.
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding procedures.
  • A proactive problem-solver who can adapt to different settings and challenges.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships across teams.
  • Flexibility to travel between sites and work across different locations as needed.
