What Youll Do
- Provide individual and group art therapy sessions tailored to each clients needs
- Conduct assessments of emotional psychological and developmental functioning
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans
- Use a variety of creative arts modalities (drawing painting sculpture mixed media etc.) to support self-expression and healing
- Maintain accurate confidential clinical documentation and progress notes
- Integrate additional therapeutic approaches (CBT mindfulness play therapy etc.) when appropriate
What You Bring
- Masters degree in Art Therapy Counseling or related field
- Certification/licensure as an Art Therapist (e.g. ATR-BC) or ability to obtain within 2 years
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania or ability to obtain within 2 years
- Strong understanding of ethical and legal standards in art therapy
- Experience with complementary therapeutic modalities is a plus
