Here in France youll help evolve and grow our business providing domain knowledge and driving Data Delivery activities across HBCE to support our decision-makers and ensure our success in line with Group Data Policy regulatory requirements and data remediation programmes.

What you will do:

In this role you will report to the HBCE Head of Data and act as the central point of accountability for delivery excellence across the HBCE data portfolio. You will provide transparent visibility of progress risks dependencies and outcomes and ensure delivery teams are set up for success through strong governance disciplined execution and effective stakeholder engagement across HBCE CIB Technology Operations and Global Functions. You will also ensure delivery governance activities are aligned with regulatory expectations (including the ECB where applicable) to support compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.

The role holder will be required to produce delivery governance frameworks and artefacts (plans RAID milestones executive reporting decision logs evidence packs) to support consistent delivery and avoid tick-box governance. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure delivery outcomes are measurable controls are evidenced and that delivery artefacts support regulatory readiness. Tactical decisions introducing technical debt must be documented and progressed through the appropriate risk acceptance and governance approval process with a clear audit trail.

In this role you will:

Act as the central point of accountability for delivery excellence across the HBCE data portfolio providing transparent visibility of progress risks dependencies and outcomes to enable effective prioritisation and decision-making

Drive the deployment of global strategic initiatives and delivery framework across initiatives in HBCE Data & Analytics

Ensure HBCE data initiatives and solution designs are aligned to the CIB Data Strategy with a strong focus on adoption of strategic platforms (e.g. the CIB Data Platform) and avoidance of unnecessary tactical divergence

Define the Agile project working approach and ensure teams follow the agreed methodology with clear ceremonies artefacts and delivery discipline

Lead and coordinate multi-disciplinary delivery teams (data analytics technology delivery) to deliver the data portfolio initiatives including those spanning multiple workstreams

Work with technical discipline leads data scientists data engineers and data analysts to produce accurate delivery estimates and manage the transition from analysis to successful delivery

Engage delivery and execution teams to identify risks/issues early remove blockers and ensure timely escalations through the relevant governance forums where decisions or support are required

Provide governance across the delivery of data products including regulatory reporting and data provisioning for key programmes ensuring data controls aligned to the data strategy are considered from inception (compliance by design) and evidenced through delivery artefacts

Support compliance with regulatory requirements including ECB-driven priorities ensure clear ownership milestones dependencies and evidence of delivery

Actively manage and escalate delivery control and risk matters through the appropriate HBCE and CIB governance forums ensuring timely decision-making and clear ownership

Ensure any tactical delivery decisions that introduce technical debt are clearly documented (scope rationale impact remediation plan) and progressed through appropriate risk acceptance and governance approval with clear ownership and timelines

Support the delivery production line (definition implementation testing) and ensure deliverables meet business requirements and are fit for purpose

Drive the sharing of best practices globally in delivery governance stakeholder management and documentation standards

You should apply if you have:

Significant experience in project management or delivery management with a focus on large-scale data-related projects/programmes and portfolio-level governance (multi-initiative oversight dependency management executive reporting)

Strong stakeholder management skills in a complex global matrix environment with proven ability to influence negotiate and drive outcomes across boundaries

Strong written and verbal communication skills including experience creating content for and presenting at senior-level meetings

Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives reconcile conflicting priorities and know when to re-prioritise or escalate

Strong analytical and structured mindset with business analysis experience (or equivalent) and a track record of delivering high-value/critical outcomes

Proficiency in project management tools and MS Office Suite

Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple outputs at one time

Proven ability to work across multi-disciplinary and diverse work environments

A degree (e.g. MBA with bachelors in engineering or masters in Economics/Mathematics/Statistics or other numerical discipline) or equivalent relevant experience

Knowledge and understanding of financial services/banking operations preferred; knowledge of data modelling and architecture is an added advantage

Relevant Agile certifications (e.g. Certified Scrum Master SAFe LeSS DAD) are a plus; large-scale transformation programme experience is a plus

Specialist knowledge of data management data risk customer data management with a robust knowledge of data management challenges in complex organizations and advanced Excel skills

Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills in English

Proven interpersonal influence and negotiation skills with experience in a complex global environment demonstrating excellent stakeholders relationship management skills at multiple levels of the organisation

Self-starter with proven problem-solving skills with the ability to consider alternative and innovative solutions

Relevant knowledge of the regulatory and other external requirements impacting the business
